Philippe Starck designs for LaCie Hard Drives

The renowned designer Philippe Starck continues to cooperate with the LaCie, and comes with two new stylish and different external hard drives. LaCie Starck Desktop Hard Drive is an external 3.5-incher for placement on the desktop, while the Mobile Drive is small and portable.
LaCie, which produces external hard drives, today introduced two new models designed by Philippe Starck .Secondly it is a larger desktop model with a 3.5-inch hard drive in and for another, a portable disk of 2.5 inches. The former requires an external power supply while the portable hard drive requires a power from the USB port.
Starck LaCie Desktop Hard Drive comes with either 1TB or 2TB of storage (that is 1000 GB and 2000 GB). The smaller the LaCie Mobile Drive Strong E found in models 320GB and 500GB. The recommended target price starts at about 1300 crowns for the portable device and 1600 crowns for the DTU.

The drives have a touch-sensitive surface that you use to start as backup software.Both units have an aluminum case to withstand a little extra. It comes with software to take automatic backups.
